By using our services, you entrust us with your personal data. We would like to assure you that we feel responsible for them and respect your privacy, therefore, we make every effort to ensure their security. By reading the text below, you will learn the rules on which we process personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to the operation of the mobile application on the Android and iOS platforms. This document contains the rules for using the GeoSenEsm application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") intended for mobile operating systems listed in point 2.1. of these regulations and is a regulation within the meaning of Article 8 of the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of electronic services (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1219) (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations"). The service provider provides access to the Regulations directly in the Application.
Before starting using the Application, you should carefully read and accept these Regulations. If you do not accept the provisions of these Regulations, you should immediately stop using the Application and uninstall it. Acceptance of the regulations and starting to use the services covered by the Regulations is tantamount to concluding a contract for the provision of services referred to in § 1 point 7. You can contact the Application Administrator regarding all matters related to the processing of our personal data. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Privacy Policy") defines the method of collecting, processing, and storing personal data necessary to provide services via the GeoSenEsm mobile application.
The Application Administrator is Marcin Witkowski residing in Poznań, address: ul. Norwida 15/53, 60-867 Poznań, with NIP: 7811792234.
The Application Administrator acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 4 point 8 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR").
The Application is available only to persons with personalized activation data for logging in, entered by the Administrator into the database of authorized Users.
A User is any natural person using the services provided via the Application on a mobile device.
The Application is intended for mobile devices such as smartphones with the operating system:
The User acknowledges that providing personal data is voluntary. Providing personal data to the Application Administrator by the User will occur after accepting the Privacy Policy and expressing consent to the processing of personal data, which will occur by clicking the appropriate checkbox. This consent is the legal basis for processing personal data by the Organizer and the Application Administrator in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The User has the right to withdraw the consent referred to in point 7 at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
For the purposes referred to in point 7, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the GeoSenEsm application on devices with Android and iOS systems, after installing the application, consent must be expressed for the use of:
Server administration is carried out using the SSH (Secure Shell) protocol.
The GeoSenEsm mobile application does not process cookies.
Clicking the appropriate checkboxes by the User during registration will be tantamount to accepting the principles contained in the Privacy Policy and Regulations.
For the proper functioning of all functionalities, the Application requires - on the device on which it is installed - among others, an efficient and active Internet access module, an efficient and active GPS module, and an efficient and active Bluetooth module compatible with the LE standard.
The Application Administrator does not collect personal data without the User's consent, only data regarding the use of the Application.
Data regarding the use of the Application do not allow for unambiguous identification of the User.
While using the Application, the Application Administrator may ask the User to provide personal data in order to provide services by the Administrator via the Application.
The personal data collected as described in point 1 above may include, among others: residence information, well-being, location.
The User decides to what extent to provide data via the Application. Failure to provide the above-mentioned data is not associated with any consequences.
Collected personal data of the User will be processed only by the Application Administrator for the purpose of providing the service selected by the Organizer. The exception is the following subcontractor of the Application Administrator:
Application data may be stored on servers within the European Union or the United Kingdom.
Additionally, the Administrator informs that this Privacy Policy is only complementary to the privacy policies of Google Play Store, Apple App Store, through which Users download the GeoSenEsm application. The Administrator is not responsible for the privacy policies implemented by entities managing the Google Play Store, Apple App Store applications, nor for their compliance with generally applicable law.
The Application Administrator undertakes to process the User's personal data in accordance with:
The Application Administrator guarantees the provision of appropriate technical and organizational measures ensuring the security of processed personal data, in particular preventing access to them by unauthorized third parties or processing them in violation of generally applicable law, preventing loss of personal data, their damage, or destruction.
The User's personal data will be stored as long as it is necessary for the Application Administrator to provide services via the Application.
The User has the right to access their personal data by sending an email request to the Administrator.
The User can at any time withdraw consent, modify, change, rectify, supplement, limit, transfer or delete the provided personal data via tools available in the Application or by contacting mw@amu.edu.pl
The User can object to the further processing of personal data. The Application Administrator complies with such requests if it is in accordance with generally accepted law and after obtaining the Organizer's consent.
In the case of permanent deletion of personal data necessary for the Application Administrator to provide services via the Application, the User will lose the ability to use these services.
The User can also obtain from the Application Administrator a record of their personal data during processing, including information about this processing.
The Application Administrator reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, which will be notified to the User via the Application. If the User does not consent to the introduced changes, they are obliged to permanently delete the Application from their mobile device.
The User uses the Application voluntarily and fully at their own risk.
To exercise the above rights, please contact us by sending an email to mw@amu.edu.pl. The Application Administrator will forward the request to the Organizer for consideration. The Application Administrator will promptly inform you of the Organizer's decision regarding the exercise of the User's rights.
If you believe that the way we process personal data violates applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
The service provider reserves the right to make changes to these Regulations at any time - in particular in case of changes in applicable law or if certain obligations are imposed on the service provider or manufacturer by state authorities, as well as to improve the operation of the Application, improve the quality of provided services, and prevent potential abuses.
Changes to the Regulations are effective from the moment the User is informed about the changes and they are placed in the Application. If the User does not agree to the changes in the Regulations, they are obliged to stop using the Application and uninstall it from the device.
